To chip or break with sharp blows, as in shaping flint into tools.
Obsidian is usually black or banded, can be formed by rapid
cooling lava making a hard volcanic glass and displays shiny, curved surfaces when fractured.
Flintnapping is the ancient skill of napping stone to form a hand axe, arrowhead or blade cores using antler hammers and granite
beach pebbles. We will give you the ability & knowledge how to make knives from a piece of flint.
Flint, or chert, is a limestone rock formed from silica laid down from the skeletons of
plankton and sea sponges and is often found in chalk cliffs .
